Rip it, rip it real good wall hanging

A fun wall hanging by CraftyRie but should it be turned into a clock?
My newest finish is this super cute wall hanging and seeing as how I often use my seam ripper more than I use my actual sewing machine, I feel it's very apt!

Pattern is this one.
Yes, it was fun & easy to make!  You've got to make it for yourself or for as a gift.

I had fun doing crappy stitches for the bit that needed ripping, it felt so good to actually be able to stuff up!  ...this wasn't actually part of the patter, I just felt that it fitted well with the them.

I used 99.9% Tula Pink fabric, the only bit I didn't was the binding - that was just something that I found in my stash that suited the colours. Yes, even the backing fabric is a Tula Pink solid!

I have one major question with it, should I turn it into a clock?  That would mean I would need to actually poke a hole right in the middle of the wall hanging so I could attach the clock fittings. I just can't decide if a) it would look good as a clock and b) if I really want to put a hole in the center of all that hard work.
Tell me in the comments below what you think I should do with it - clock it or leave it?

My next project is to make some of these fabric baskets and to also make some notebook covers for the kids for Christmas.
