Twirly patchwork dress

A girl showing off her fun patchwork dress
I made Laney a patchwork dress as I wanted to use up a bunch of precut fabric.
I had previously spent a day going through my fabric stash and finding all the fabric that I didn't really like anymore or I didn't have enough to make something big with and cut them all up into squares using my cutter
...Well, actually, to be totally honest, I handed the fabric to my 9yo son and he put them through the cutter as he loves using it!

The pattern was really easy to use, I loved the bodice as it came together so easily and gave the dress a nice finish.  Pattern is from here and bonus, it comes as adult sizes too.

I love the dress so much that we're planning a second one for Laney and I'm thinking of making myself a patchwork skirt!
