So, what happens if you take one ball of string, one crochet hook and left-over teabags?
Crochet the string into rounds......
Pull off enough string & soak overnight in cold tea......
Dry string, finish bowl & voila!
Or.....
Make a small string bowl....
And place upside down in a bowl of cold tea.....
Remove after about 10 seconds or so...... (and leave to dry)
And then at the end of the day, be really impressed with your little experiment! I have to admit, the second version of dying with the tea after the basket was made - was a much easier thing to do! But then again - the stripe looked pretty cool too!
