4 Things

Thing 1
Firstly, I'd like to thank you for all your advice regarding the cowl that I made.  I don't know why I made a cowl, I prefer scarves but I think I will end up undoing it and make myself a scarf. Also, the yarn isn't that fab either - it is hard and over-spun. Yes,  the Noro Taiyo is overspun. Who would have thought that paying $20+ dollars for a ball of yarn would give you an overspun yarn, I certainly wouldn't have. In fact, if I wanted over-spun yarn then I would have dragged out my spinning wheel & spun it myself.

Thing 2

Speaking of undoing (the cowl), I have to undo these few rows.
Ughh, I seriously hate undoing but at least I picked it up a few rows in and not when I was casting off!

Thing 3
Can you keep a secret?  Yep, good.  I'm thinking of knitting my hubby a vest for Christmas but I can't find a suitable pattern.  He has a slim build and I want a vest that he can wear to work (the office) but I've been looking and looking but can't seem to find THE pattern. So, that is where you come in, do you know of any good men vests patterns?    These are some that I have found but gosh, I don't know - what do you think?

Thing 4
Have you entered my Giveaway yet?  You can win some cute fabric, click here.... to enter.

That's all the things for now, have a brilliant day!  Rie.

  1. I think I like the lighter grey vest the best, it has a lovely texture to it.

  2. I like the 3rd classic style vest, clean lines and nice ribbing. My Hubby prefers plain outwear.

  3. i´m starting a knitting class in two weeks. can´t wait! i´ll keep you posted:)
p.s. check out rowan´s patterns. i love their things.
    big hugs rie!
