Oppy finds

I popped into town today to pick up a couple of things and had 15 minutes to spare before I caught the bus back home again so I spent those precious minutes in the op shop near the bus stop!

I picked up this newly knitted, never worn hand-knitted jumper for bubba, it was only $3.99 - way cheaper than buying the cheapest sweater in the discount department store!

A very Scottish teatowel.
Two Western Australia placemats which are just need for a zip, some lining & then voila a handy sized zipper bag!

Gorgeous vintage sheets - the green flowers is just screaming to be made into a skirt for me!
A stack of books for bubba - he just loves books and I love to surprise him every now and then with a 'new' book for his library.
I had to get this book about the rats - couldn't resist the rat knitting!

  1. Nice jumper! I can't resist children's books either..especially as they are so dear to buy new now as well.

  3. Thats a good collection for 15 minutes! I limit myself to buying wool and sometimes that includes half made items that someone never finished...like the bright green jumper for a one armed Irish man! Ok, I do buy children's books as well...
