Holey Cowl!

What to do when your yarn colour reminds you of clouds....

You hunt the lovely world wide web for patterns that look like clouds but then you settle on this pattern because it reminds you of ripples in the water AND clouds!

...not that I'd recommend the pattern unless you like cryptic lazily written patterns. For example the pattern goes a little bit like this:
Row 1 & 3 …
Row 2, 4, 8, 12, 16, 20, 24, 28 ….
Row 5, 9, 13, 17, 21, 25, 29….
Row 6….
Row 7….
Row 10…. etc etc etc.

It just doesn’t flow when you use it -- unless of course you like patterns written like that, then go for it but honestly, it's a shame that it is written so poorly as this small scarf keeps catching my eye but now after knitting this, I've been put off buying any more patterns by the designer.

I made the cowl for my bloggy friend as a surprise cos she is just so ace and it's nice to make things for people who appreciate hand made.

The yarn is from my own Yarnotion, I'm planning on dyeing some more up so please let me know if you'd like some in a particular yarn weight.
