Sometimes success takes multiple of failures. Sometimes you have to admit to yourself that what you are making, no matter how many hours or thought-process has gone into it that it's just not 'working'.
I've had to make that decision, I realised that the reason why I was so slow crocheting this blanket was that I just didn't like it.
So I put the project in the cupboard for a few months then pulled it out again. Nope, still don't like it!
It took me about an hour to undo & wind back into balls and not once did I think "no, stop" - so yep, it was the right decision!
So then I decided to try the yarn with a different pattern...but umm, nope, don't like that either!
So I've undone it again. I will give it a couple of days before trying a new pattern.
In the meantime, I decided that I didn't like this bag either, so I undid that as well!
So, tell me ... how far have you fallen into a project only to decide that you don't like and want to undo it?
