Roy G Biv

I learnt something today! Yep, whilst snuggled up on the couch with bubba Joe watching Sesame Street, I learnt Roy G Biv.
Red

Orange
Yellow
Green
Blue
Indigo
Violet
The colours of the rainbow easily remembered by the acronym of Roy G Biv.  Cool huh, now hopefully I can remember the colours of the rainbow!

Although technically there are only 6 colours, indigo and violet are just purple, the chap who was researching rainbow colours thought there should be 7 - lucky number and all that, so sort of made it up! richard of york gave battle - pudding, doenst quite work though!

    Very English, very what ho!
Makes my kids laugh when I endlessly repeat it out loud when doing rainbow related stuff.

  6. I remember learning that in elementary school. It made it easy to color rainbows that way. I still would do them all different ways though..Just a rebel I guess!
