A Yarn Talker update - your opinion is needed (please!)

A little while ago, I told you about my efforts in designing a dress for my baby girl, the Yarn Talker Dress

Well, after the craziness of May, I have picked it back up again... undone, redone, undone, redone...
I've managed to wiggle it onto my wiggly model to check for fit, who then proceeded yank the needles entirely out...(oh well!)
So this is what I have so far, what do you think... does it look ok?
I'd really love your opinion - it's a slinky type of yarn with minimum shaping/pattern as I wanted the gorgeous yarn to show, hence the name Yarn Talker Dress.

So far so good, I would say :-) Is that some stockinette I can see? That would show the yarn a lot. Also, when I made some babywear from variegated yarn, I gave it a little white edging, which made the colours stand out even more.

  3. It really is gorgeous yarn, so I can't blame you wanting to make something more simple, something that will show off those wonderful colours - I do hope you post the finished garment :)
